PATV Endless Mountain Trails
Experience the great outdoors and the vast landscape of the north-central region of Pennsylvania. As you venture through the forests and fields on a latest-model Polaris RZR side by side, be on the lookout for whitetail deer, black bears, elk, possums, foxes, skunks, and wild turkeys. Consider bringing a fishing pole and tackle box—you'll pass Class A fishing streams loaded with brook, brown, and rainbow trout.
You’ll venture along hillsides that, depending on the season, will have blooming wildflowers such as trillium, mountain laurel, coltsfoot, and spring beauties.
Our team is ready to suggest the ideal itinerary for you and your group. Let them know if you want to slog through mud holes, explore more rocky terrain, or do more lowkey touring that gives you plenty of time to stop and relax at overlooks and restaurants.
You can also rent Polaris vehicles for several days and camp on property to make it a true getaway, giving you time to explore other nearby attractions like Lyman Run State Park and Cherry Springs State Park.

Why Rent ATVs?
The Pennsylvania Wilds, Kettle Creek Valley, and our home in Pennsylvania are increasingly popular tourism destinations -- attracting folks who wish to experience the excellent Stargazing, Elk Viewing opportunities, Fall Foliage, or just the natural beauty of the Appalachian Plateau in Pennsylvania.
Before the popularity of ATVs (or SxSs), for many years snowmobiles offered an incredible experience in this area, with hundreds of miles of groomed trails to ride and experience the Pennsylvania Winter like never before. In the past few years, many local ATV clubs, groups, and the State of Pennsylvania have worked tirelessly to implement a cohesive ATV trail system (much alike that offered at the Hatfield and McCoy trail system in West Virginia). In 2023, we anticipate even greater expansion of the ATV program in our region.
Therefore, our objective in becoming an Outfitter is to give our guests the opportunity to experience this area, even if they do not already own their own SxS. We've chosen to work with Polaris, a well recognized brand, and one that takes safety, security, and responsibility as seriously as we do!

Frequently Asked Questions
Beyond simple on-road transit from site to site, no. We allow, and encourage, our guests to bring and ride their ATVs around the roads on the campground to get from their site to the bathhouse, pavilion, or simply to slowly enjoy the property. Riding around the property, off-road, or at high speed is actively discouraged -- and frequently enforced.
Absolutely! Guests staying at the campground are always welcome to bring along their machines. As we have in past years, we will also still offer donation-only truck and trailer parking for transient riders.
Not only is this strongly and actively discouraged, it is illegal per Pennsylvania state law without owner consent. Upon renting from us, all drivers and groups will receive an in-person orientation and safety training, guidance on applicable laws, specific guidance on riding on private property, and an offline GPS guide that allows them to see which trails are legal for them to ride on. We will also be offering prescribed rides that our renters can follow if they are new to this area. While on their ride, renters will have a GPS based monitor attached to their vehicle. Rented machines will also be clearly marked as rentals. If you have any issue with one of our rented machines riding on your property, please call us at (570) 927-2797 to discuss.
